These are the assignment descriptions/guidelines for this class.

Exam 1: Wednesday October 30. This exam will cover material from 9/30 through 10/21. You can download a .doc file of the review guide. You can also collectively update and use this google doc (just make sure to save changes and to fill out answers using different colored texts).

Final Exam 3: Thursday December 12th at 2:45PM in GSH #123. This exam will cover material from 11/13 through 12/4. ***BONUS: Go to a Live Hip Hop Show and Write-Up (up to 3 points on your final grade): Due Thursday December 12th during our final exam period. You can download the assignment description/guideline as a PDF file here.

***BONUS: Go to the UO Hip-Hop Jam (1-point on your final grade): Thursday December 5. 20 students in this class are in a FIG connected to this course and we’re planning a hip hop jam with emcees, DJs, dancers, artists etc. It’s free and fun. You MUST come for at least ONE HOUR for 1-point on your final grade, do a social media post and some tagging during the event! The Jam will be 6:30-10pm in Global Scholars Hall #123. I will also give more credit if you participate in the production of the event (marketing, promotion, performance). You can get 2-points on your final grade if you bring 5 friends and make a second post with a pic of them at the jam (you must send me screen grabs of both). You can download the Go to the UO Hip Hop Jam Bonus assignment description (it’s important to follow all instructions).
